Singapore Math approved for California
 
The California State Board of Education has approved Singapore's Math comprehensive K-5 Earlybird Kindergarten and Primary Mathematics programs for adoption as core curriculum materials.  Press Release.
 

 

Singapore Kids Ranked Number One in 1995, 1999 and 2003 in TIMSS

TIMSS

Conducted on a four-year cycle, the first round of TIMSS was in 1995, the second in 1999 and the third in 2003.  The TIMSS 2003 results were released on December 14, 2004. Singapore is again in top place for Mathematics in 2003.  Singapore students who took TIMSS in 1995, 1999 and 2003 were using the Primary Mathematics Series.  The results speak for themselves about the Primary Mathematics series.  More information about TIMSS.
